Tbilisi Car Hire

After hours pickup and drop off service is available on request and has to be booked in advance. This service is not available for walkups out of hours if the pick up or drop off is not booked in advance. If the rental is booked in advance a rental agent will be at the counter to serve the customer. No key box is available.

Minimum rental age is 21, maximum is 79. There is no young driver fee.

Subject to special rules, it is possible to travel across the border between Georgia and Armenia for an additional rental fee. The renter must inform the office of their intention to cross the border at least 48 hours before the start of the rental to check all documents and the possibility of crossing the border. If the renter does not report their intention to cross the border, they will not have a guarantee of driving in the territory of Armenia. In case of an attempt to cross the border without permits, the penalty will apply.

Delivery and Collection is available with an extra charge. Any delivery within Tbilisi has a fixed amount of 33.30 GEL (12.70 USD). For deliveries and collections outside of the city limits but within 300 km a fee of 1.40 GEL (0.50 USD) per km is applied. Deliveries and collections further than 300km will incur an extra 130.00 GEL (50.00 USD) fee plus the additional km rate. These rates are exclusive of VAT. To arrange delivery and collection service customers are encouraged to contact the branch or forward a request via email.

One way rentals are available between Georgia and Armenia for an extra one time charge. Domestic one ways between the Tbilisi Airport and the Tbilisi location vice versa are free of charge. Driving to Omalu, Ushguli and Shatili is forbidden, since these are considered to be off road.

1) CDWTP, ZE and TWP do not reduce your liability for:a) theft or loss of the Vehicle (or any accessories provided as part of the Hire, such as an electric vehicle's charging cable) if not supported by a police crime reference.b) damage to the Vehicle caused by any breach of the Rental Agreement, including but not limited to:i. failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started and failure to lock the vehicle,ii. unauthorised work, modification or repairs on the vehicle,iii. failure to stop using the vehicle or take appropriate action once a, warning light, fault or malfunction becomes known,iv. use by an unauthorised or unlicensed driver,v. Sub-hire of the vehicle or use for hire and reward,vi. damage caused by the use of the wrong fuel,vii. use of vehicle for any reckless, illegal purpose, or deliberately causing injury or damage to property,viii. racing, pacemaking, or teaching someone to drive,ix. use whilst under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or drugs,x. use of the vehicle outside of the Georgia without our written permission,xi. overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts or to transport goods with a weight heavier than that authorised for the Vehicle,xii. propel or tow any other vehicle or wheeled equipment,xiii. use on any unpaved surface, racetracks, beaches and test courses, or otherwise off-road,xiv. to drive through water or over any objects that you knew or ought to have known rise above the Vehicle's ground clearancexv. to drive through height-restricted entrances, bridges or passages if the height restriction is lower than the Vehicle's overhead clearancexvi. transporting dangerous or noxious substances,xvii. use of vehicle on an aerodrome, airfield, airport or military installation,c) non-payment of the Hire Costs or Additional Costs, ord) any other exclusions to CDWTP, ZE and TWP specifically listed in the Local Addenda.

Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection (CDWTP) reduces the liability of the renter in the event of damage to or theft of the vehicle to the excess/deductible amount specified below. CDWTP is included in the reservation by default for all rates.The excess amount for each incident of damage is:500 USD for categories Mini, Economy, Compact Intermediate and Standard600 USD for SUVs, Passenger Van and Premium800 USD for Premium and Premium Elite SUVThe excess will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost or stolen.The coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and respective exclusions apply. CDWTP is not insurance.

Refueling: All vehicles are delivered with full tank of fuel and must be returned in the same condition. If a vehicle is returned with less than a full tank of fuel the renter will be required to pay the difference at a rate of 1.50 USD per liter inclusive of VAT.

Inclusive Rates include time and mileage, SLP, CDW, TP, PAI and VAT.

The CDW/TP/PAI/SLP packaged coverage product is included in rates by default. Collision Damage Waiver - CDW and Theft Protection – TP reduces the excess in case of damages and theft to between 1040.00 to 1420.00 GEL (400.00 to 500.00 USD) depending on the car group. PAI - Personal Accident Insurance is included with the rates by default and the coverage per seat is 22568.00 GEL (8680.00 USD). SLP - Supplemental Liability Protection is included with the rates by default and the coverage is 26000.00 GEL (10000.00 USD) for third party liability including bodily injury, death and property damage.

All major credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard and Visa are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Digital cards are not accepted as methods of payment. Prepaid cards, cash and debit cards can be used to settle any outstanding balances at the end of the rental. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. The deposit is 500 USD for the categories Mini, Economy, Compact Intermediate and Standard and 600 USD for the categories SUVs, Passenger Van and Premium. For the categories Premium and Premium Elite SUV the deposit is 800 USD.

Standard roadside assistance is included in the rates. If customers have a breakdown or accident they will receive roadside assistance from our technical department. The 24/7 contact numbers are: 00995577967070 and 00995577657070. Other roadside services like flat tire, jump start, fuel delivery, loss of keys or lock services are available upon request with an extra charge according to the agency price list. Roadside assistance is also available 24/7 in and outside of Georgia. Should customers face problems within the territory of Georgia a 2.00 GEL (0.80 USD) fee per km applies depending on the distance between Tbilisi and the location of the rental vehicle requiring roadside assistance. The same rule and fee applies for roadside assistance in the territory of Armenia with the per km fee based on the distance between our Yerevan office and rental vehicle location.

At the time of rental pickup renter must be in a possession of a valid driving license for over 1 year, passport and credit card as well as comply to the terms and conditions. International driving license is required for US citizens as well as some other countries where local driving licenses are not in Latin letters. DRIVING RESTRICTIONS Driving to Omalu, Shatili and Ushguli from November until mid-April is forbidden for any types of vehicles because of dangerous road conditions. During the summer, driving is allowed there with SUVs, but because of bad road conditions we do not recommend.

Roadside Assistance Plus (RSP) includes a 24-hour emergency service including provision of a replacement vehicle in case of lost vehicle key, shipping of the key, on-site assistance in case of more than one tire breakdown, towing service, forced unlocking of the vehicle if the keys are locked inside and jump-start assistance. RSP is a flat-rate fee that covers all roadside assistance services. Roadside assistance is also available without payment of this flat-rate fee. It will then be billed according to actual costs incurred for each assistance service rendered. Roadside Assistance Plus is an optional product. Before purchasing RSP it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate. If RSP is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. RSP is not insurance.

SCDWTP - Super Collision Damage Waiver Theft Protection is an optional coverage which reduces the excess of Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection in the event of damage and or theft to the rental vehicle subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and applicable laws. It is available for an additional fee.

SCDWTWP - Super Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Waiver and Tires and Windshield Protection is an optional coverage which reduces the excess of CDW, TP and TWP to zero in case of damage to the rental vehicle and theft. This insurance product also covers damage to the tires or windshield of the vehicle. It is available for an additional fee.

TWP - Tires and Windshield Protection is an optional coverage which reduces the renters financial responsibility to zero in cases of damages to tires or windshield of the rented vehicle in accordance to the terms and conditions of your rental contract and applicable laws. It is available for an additional fee.

Zero Excess (ZE) is an optional protection product which covers the customer’s financial responsibility in cases of theft, damage to the body, wind shields, mirrors or tires of rental vehicle and reduces the excess/deductible amount to zero.ZE does not provide any coverage for damages to the underside of the vehicle or the vehicle interior.The purchase of Zero Excess reduces the required deposit amount by half.Before purchasing ZE it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If ZE is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the Damage Waiver excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. ZE is not insurance.
